Ira, 61, of Marshall, died at the Fitzgibbon Hospital. He was born in Saline 
County near Hardeman 11/30/1921, the son of Thomas P. & Edna Blakley French. 
He married Grace Moore 4/16/1941 in Marshall.
Survivors include his wife, a son Ira Jr., of Sweet Springs; 3 daughters, Mary 
E. Wade of Marshall; Mrs. Larry (Carol) Sanders of Nelson; Mrs. Perry (Bessie) 
Bales, of Sweet Springs; 2 brothers, Edgar Eugene French of Knob Noster; 
Thomas French of Marshall; a sister, Mrs. Melvin Meek of Nelson; 10 
grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Marshall.
