Located 1/2 mile east and north of Henry Claussen residence on the Claussen Farm on Route 68 east of Shelbyville. Only broken stone with inscription left, but others believed buried here. Sayre, wife of Rev. Ezra Sayre, died January 31, 1865. Age 63 years, 1 mo., 16 days. (Black Creek Township). Inscription reads: SAYRE, Mary Died - Jan. 31, 1865 Aged - 63 years, 1 Month, 16 Days Wife of - Rev. Ezra Ayre (should be Sayre) My notes: Location is approx. the center of Section 22, Township 58 North, Range 10 West. This would be the NW corner of the Grace Claussen 160 of Section 22.
