Bryan and Robert Rose, Published by Bryan, Brand & Co., St. Louis Missouri, 1876. ********************************************************************** Thomas Carter, of Virginia, married Judith McCrawdy, and their children were: Jesse, Thomas, Edward, Lawson, Christopher and Dale. Thomas was married to Nancy Hutchings, of Virginia, and settled in St. Charles County, in 1836. Christopher married Mary Soizes, whose father served seven years in the Revolutionary War. They settled in St. Charles County in 1830. The names of their children were: Frances, Rebecca, James, Jane, Christopher, Judith, Thomas M., Mary, George and Rolla.
