to procure a license to marry MISS NANCY M. WALTON of 4285 COTTAGE AVE. and 
State of MO do hereby solemnly swear that I am of the age of 25 years; that I am 
single and unmarried, and may lawfully contract and be joined in marriage; 
and I, MISS NANCY M. WALTON, the person above named, do hereby solemnly swear 
that I am of the age of 24 years, and that I am single and unmarried, and may 
lawfully contract and be joined in marriage.

Act of The General Assembly.
Certain Marriages Prohibited. - All marriages between parents and children, 
including grand-parents and grand-children of every degree; between brothers 
and sisters of the half as well as the whole blood, and between uncles and 
nieces, aunts and nephews, first cousins, white persons and negroes, are prohibited 
and declared absolutely void; and this prohibition shall apply to 
illegitimate as well as legitimate children and relatives. (R.S.1879,3265)

or Licensed or Ordained Preacher of the Gospel who is a citizen of the United 
States, to solemnize marriage between Mr. DAVID W. DOUGLAS of DENVER State of 
COL who is OVER the age of twenty-one years and MISS NANCY M. WALTON of ST. 
LOUIS State of MO who is OVER the age of eighteen years.
