Allen tallen@fiaa.net October 2, 2009, 8:16 pm newspaper Mae Masterson, 73, died Monday, Jan. 24 at Reynolds County Memorial Hospital in Ellington. She was a former resident of Dexter and had lived in Ellington since 1952. She was born aug. 14, 1909 at Bloomfield. On Nov. 3, 1928, she was married to Louis Masterson at Poplar Bluff. He survives. Also surviving are six sons, Arthur Masterson, John Masterson, Frank Masterson, Fred Masterson and Floyd Masterson, all of Ellington, Gene Masterson of Little Rock, Ark.; five daughters, Geneva Duncan of Little Rock, Ruth Beck of Ellington, Mary Dollins of Kennett, Edna Elles and Carzenia Sadler, both of Dexter; her mother, Phebie Pullum of Dexter; four brothers, Harold Pullum and Junior Pullum, both of Dexter, Eugene Pullum of St. Louis, Bill Pullum of Mt. Vernon, Ark.; two sisters, Sylvia Stickles of Dexter, Ellen Burguss of Little Rock; 27 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 26 at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Dexter. The Rev. Freeman officiated. Burial followed in Sadlers Cemetery in Dexter.
