                     CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE
                        STATE OF MISSOURI

This is to certify that on the 27th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, 
One Thousand 8 hundred and 99, at Asheville, in the County of Stoddard and the 
State AFORESAID, I the undersigned, a minister of the gospel, by authority of 
a license bearing the date the 22nd day of August, 1899 and issued by the 
Recorder of Deeds of Stoddard county, Missouri, did join in 
                        HOLY MATRIMONY
W. T. McMahan             and            Laura dillard
of Asheville                             of Asheville
County of Stoddard                       County of Stoddard
State of Missouri                        State of Missouri

In the presence of

Additional Comments:
The above Certificate of Marriage has no document number or serial number, or 
number from the Recorder of Deeds indicating that it was filed.  The document 
does have affixed in the upper right corner, a United States Internal Revenue 
Stamp in the amount of 10 cents with the date 1899, and the initials "ER 
written on it.
