Persons or organizations desiring to use this material, must obtain the written consent of the contributor, or the legal representative of the submitter, and contact the listed USGenWeb archivist with proof of this consent. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ File contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Compiled and submitted by © 1999,2000, Connie Perkins *************************************************************************** Record Book of Wills in the County of Stoddard, Missouri Book A, pg. 5 I Henry Asherbruner of the County of Stoddard in the state of Missouri do make and publish this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say First it is my will that my funeral expenses and just debts be paid Second I give and divide and bequeath to my beloved wife Catherine Asherbruner the plantation and mills where we now live situated on the north side of the River Castor containing about sixty seven acres of land During her widowhood and also all the live stock now owned by me such as horses cattle sheep hog and other items here not mentioned to dispose of in this will to pay my just debts as aforesaid and if remaining my widow during her natural life so much of the property as Remains then and exposed of to be divided among my lawful heirs the following named persons Sarah Asherbruner, John Asherbruner, Salvester Asherbruner, Sewsindy Asherbruner, Nancy Asherbruner, and Henry Asherbruner, my lawful sons and Daughters Equally. Third I will all the land lying on the south side of the river Castor from where I now live containing about fifty nine acres of land also forty acres situated about one mile and a half from this place where I now live with the improvement thereon where I live before I came to where I now live to be Equally divided between the above Directed heirs and lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife C... Asherbruner & Lawson Taylor to be my Executors to this my last will and testament Revoking and annuling all former wills by me maid and Ratified and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament.
