Morris In the Name of God Amen. I John F. Morris of the county of Stoddard and state of Missouri being of Sound Mind and having demonstrated to me daily the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death do Make and publish this my last will and testament. 1st I will that all My Just debts be paid including My funeral Expenses. 2nd I give and bequeath to My Son H. H. Morris five dollars to be Paid by my Executor hereinafter named twelve months after My death. 3rd I give and bequeath to My daughter Arminta Evaline Anderson five Dollars to be paid My Executor hereinafter named twelve months after my Death. 4th I give and bequeath to My Daughter Mary P. Edwards five dollars to be paid by My Executor twelve Months after my Death. 5th I give and bequeath to My Daughter Sarah Ann Esther Edwards one horse or mule worth fifty Dollars to be Delivered by My Executor twelve Months after My Death. 6th I give and bequeath to My beloved Daughter Martha Caroline Morris and Georgianna Morris all the rest and residue of My property be the Same Real personal or Mixed and to their bodily heirs and assigns forever Said Property to be as nearly Equally Divided between as May be the real Estate is a follows to wit: the South East quarter of the South East quarter and the South west quarter of the South East quarter of Section twenty Nine (29) township twenty five (25) Range ten (10) East containing Eighty (80) acres Situated in Stoddard County Missouri. Pg. 101 The personal property, first consisting of one mule two cows and calves, and about twenty two head of hogs together with all my household and Kitchen furniture and farming utencils. 7th I do hereby appoint Charles H. Barham my Sole Executor hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness I have hereof I have hereunto Set My hand and Seal this 6th day of December A.D. 1880. John F. Morris Signed and declared by the above named John F. Morris to be his last will and testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence have Subscribed our names as witnesses thereto. Wilson clerk of the Probate Court of Stoddard county having Examined the foregoing Instrument purporting to be the last will of and Signed by John F. Morris and having heard the testimony of W.C. Harty and D. S. Crumb Subscribing witnesses there unto in relation to the Execution of the Same do declare and adjudge Said Instrument to be the last will and testament of the Said John F. Morris deceased late of Stoddard County in testimony whereof I have Set My hand and affixed the Seal of the Probate court of Stoddard County at office in Bloomfield this 20th day of February A.D. 1883. Wilson Clerk of the Probate Court pg. 102 held in and for the County and State aforesaid personally appeared William C. Harty and D. S. Crumb both of Stoddard County in the State of Missouri who are the Subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of John F. Morris, Deceased And being by me first duly Sworn Depose and Say that the Said John F. Morris the testator Subscribed the Same in their presence and Published and declared Said will or instrument of writing to be his last will and Testament And that at the time of Signing the Same he the Said testator was of Sound and disposing Mind and more than twenty-one years of age and that Said deponent attested Said will as witnesses thereto by Subscribing their names to the Same in the Presence of the testator and of Each other and at the request of the Said testator.
