Lucus Know all men by these presents that Doctor F. Lucus of the County of Stoddard and State of Missouri being of sound mind do make this my last will and testament as follows. After giving my soul back to God who gave it I do bequeath unto my dearly beloved Grand-daughter Ollie McCallum Three hundred dollars in cash out of my Estate at my death and it is my desire that when I die that the Probate Judge of the Probate court of the county where the said Ollie McCallum may reside at my death shall appoint a guardian for her who shall use the money for her benefit until she becomes Eighteen years old or married. Cross Proof of Will State of Missouri, County of Stoddard In the Probate Court Be it Remembered that on this the 29th day of September A.D. 1888 before me P.G. Wilson Judge of the probate Court held in and for the county and State aforesaid, personally appeared James I. Hampton who is the subscribing witness to the annexed will of Dr. F. Lucus deceased and being by me first duly sworn depose and say That the said Testator authorized him to sign his name to the same which he did in the presence of testator published and declared said will or Instrument of writing to be his last will and testament and that at the time of signing the same he the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and more than twenty-one years of age, and that said deponent attested said will as witness thereto by subscribing his name to the same in the presence of the Testator and of Sarah J. Cross and at the request of the said testator. James I. Hampton pg. 137 Sworn to and Subscribed before me at office P.G. Wilson Judge of the Probate Court this 29th day of September A.D. 1888. P.G. Wilson Judge of the probate Court held in and for the county and State aforesaid, personally appeared Sarah J. Hisaw formerly Sarah J. Cross who is the subscribing witness to the annexed will of Dr. F. Lucus deceased and being by me first duly sworn depose and say That the said Dr. F. Lucus the testator published and declared said will or Instrument of writing to be his last will and testament and that at the time of signing the same he the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and more than twenty-one years of age, and that said deponent attested said will as witness thereto by subscribing her name to the same in the presence of the Testator and of James I. Hampton and at the request of the said testator. Sarah J. Hisaw Sworn to and Subscribed before me at office P.G. Wilson Judge of the Probate Court this 14th day of January A.D. 1889. P.G. Wilson Judge of the Probate court of Stoddard County State of Missouri having Examined the foregoing Instrument purporting to be the Last Will of Dr. F. Lucus deceased and signed by Dr. F. Lucus and having heard the testimony of James I. Hampton and Sarah J. Hisaw subscribing witnesses thereto in Relation to the Execution of the same do declare and adjudge said Instrument to be the Last Will and testament of the said Dr. F. Lucus deceased late of Stoddard County, Missouri. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said court at office in Bloomfield this 14th day of Jan A.D. 1889 P.G.
