I John Kitchen of the county of Stoddard in the Sate of Missouri being of Sound Mind and Knowing the uncertainty of human life and the certainty of death do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made-- First. I will that all My just debts be paid. Second. I will and bequeath to my two Sons George W. Kitchen and William R. Kitchen a certain farm or tract of land owned by me and Situate in Stoddard County Missouri Known as the Jacob Wilfong place. Also To Each of My Said Sons One horse -- Third. I will and bequeath to My wife Rebecca Kitchen all my other property, both Real, personal and mixed, to have and to hold the Same during her widowhood. And when she ceases to be my widow it is My will then the property herein willed to her Shall be Sold and the proceeds of the Same Equally divided among my children, and I do hereby appoint David Kitchen and Sanders Walker Executors of my will. In testimony whereof I have hereunto Signed My Name and affixed My Seal this 10th day of March AD 1861. John Kitchen Signed and declared by the above named John Kitchen to be his last will and testament in the name of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
