Boyd of the County of Stoddard, State of Missouri, undersigned. I William L. Boyd the undersigned, being in good bodily health and of sound and disposing mind, do hereby make publish and declare this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all testamentary dispositions of my property and estate whatsoever by me heretofore made. I desire that all my just debts be paid by my executor hereinafter appointed, as soon as may be after my decease. And to that end my said executor hereinafter named are directed to collect and get in as soon as may be all moneys which may be owing to me and pay off all debts that I may be owing if any at the time of my decease. 1st. I give and devise to my beloved grandson Charles Buck One Hundred dollars to be paid by my executor hereinafter named within twelve months after my decease. 2nd I give and devise to my beloved grandson James Buck One Hundred dollars to be paid by my executor hereinafter named within twelve months after my decease. 3rd I give and devise to my beloved grand daughter Ada Buck One Hundred dollars to be paid by my executors hereinafter named within twelve months after my decease. 4th I give and devise to my beloved grand daughter Laura Buck One Hundred dollars to be paid by my executor hereinafter named within twelve months after my decease. 5th I give devise and bequeath to my beloved sons James E. Boyd, Theodric W. Boyd and Robert W. Boyd all the residue and remainder of my estate Real, personal and mixed of every kind in possession or action of whatsoever description and wheresoever situated belonging to me at my decease unto which there be at law or equity entitled to be equally divided between them as they may think best to have and to hold the same unto them the said James E. Boyd, Theodric W. Boyd and Robert W. Boyd and their heirs and assigns forever. 6th. I hereby appoint my son James E. Boyd Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this the 29th day of July 1887. W.L. Boyd to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto. M.S. Phelan C.H. Barham Proof of Will State of Missouri, County of Stoddard In the Probate Court Be it Remembered that on this the 2nd day of Oct A.D. 1891 before me Thomas Connelly Judge of the probate Court held in and for the county and State aforesaid, personally appeared Charles H. Barham and M.S. Phelan who are the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of Wm. L. Boyd deceased and being by me first duly sworn on their oath depose and say That the said Wm. L. Boyd the Testator subscribed the same in their presence, and published and declared said will or Instrument of writing to be his last will and testament, and that at the time of signing the same he the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and more than twenty-one years of age, and that said deponents attested said will as witnesses thereto by subscribing their names to the same in the presence of the Testator and of each other, and at the request of the said testator. Thomas Connelly Judge of Probate State of Missouri, County of Stoddard In the Probate Court I Thomas Connelly Judge of the Probate court of Stoddard County State of Missouri having Examined the foregoing Instrument purporting to be the Last Will of Wm. L. Boyd deceased and having heard the testimony of C.H. Barham and M.S. Phelan subscribing witnesses thereto in Relation of the Execution of the same do declare and adjudge said Instrument to be the Last Will and testament of the said Wm. L. Boyd deceased late of Stoddard County, Missouri. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said court at office in Bloomfield this 2nd day of pg. 157 Oct 1891.
