Hill of the County of Stoddard in the State of Missouri do make and publish this my last will and testament. 1st It is my Will that all my debts and funeral expenses be fully paid. And I give and devise to my Niece Dora D. Miller Two hundred Acres of land situate in the County of Green and State of Arkansas and Known as the Elihu Graham farm also one hundred dollars in money. 3rd I give and devise to my Sister Margaret E. Crytes Three hundred and twenty acres of land situate in Green county Arkansas and Known as the Jacob Cripp place or farm; Also -- Three hundred and Sixty five acres of land Situate in Cook county Texas and lying about Seven Miles North East of the town of Gainsville in said county of Cook and being all the land found in the State of Texas. I also give and bequeath to my said Sister Margarett E. Crytes Two hundred and Seventy five dollars in gold which I now have on hand also Five hundred dollars in current money or "greenbacks". 4th I give and bequeath to Martha J. Spiller five dollars, to William E. Spiller five dollars, to Henry Spiller five dollars to Armenta Spiller five dollars, to John Spiller five dollars and to Mary Ellen Spiller five dollars. 5th I give and bequeath to my Brother Jasper F. Hill five dollars. 6th And lastly, as to all the rest, residue and remainder of my Personal estate whatever after payment of all my just debts, I give and bequeath the same to my said Sister Margarett E. Crytes. And do hereby appoint Henry Miller my sole Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 24th day of July AD Eighteen hundred and Sixty Seven. John W. Hill Signed and declared by the above named John W. Hill to be his last will and Testament in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names in witnesses thereto. Orson Bartlett William S. Welborn State of Missouri, county of Stoddard In Vacation of the Probate Court Be it remembered that on the 27th day of Jul 1867 personally appeared before me the undersigned Henry Renner Clerk of the Probate Court of the county and State aforesaid Orson Bartlett and William S. Welborn the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of John W. Hill; and being by me first duly sworn, depose and say that the said John W. Hill the testator, subscribed the same in their presence, and published the said will or instrument of writing as his last will, that he, the said testator was at the time of publishing his said will, of sound mind and more than twenty one years of age, and that they the said deponents, attested the said will as witnesses thereto, by subscribing their names to the same, in the presence of said testator.
