I John S. Chuk of the county of Dunklin and State of Missouri Knowing the certainty of death and being in the proper exercise of mind and Memory do constitute make and ordain this Last will and testament in the following manner to wit. Item 1st I order and direct that my Just debts be first paid by My Executor hereafter mentioned. Item 2nd I will and bequeath unto Hannah H. Norman and Isena M. Norman one bed and furniture a piece. Item 3 I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife Melinda Chuk the Balance of My Estate both real and personal during her life time or so long as she remains as my widow but should she marry it shall be divided between her and my two children Shenilda C. Chuk and Iseritta Chuk and should there be any other increase in my family it shall come as an equal heir and should my wife die afore marring my last named children Senlder Chuk and Iennetta Chuk shall heir the whole of my Estate. Item 4 I appoint my wife Melinda Chuk My Executrix of this pg. 3 My last will and testament whereunto I have set my hand and affixed my seal this Fourth day of July One Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty four. Hogue State of Missouri, County of Stoddard In the county Court of Stoddard County Missouri May Term 1865 May 12th 1865 "5" days "of the Term" Be it remembered that on this 12 day of May 1865 personally appeared before the County Court in and for the County and State aforesaid John B. Hogue and Bennett Marshall the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of John S. Chuk and being by me first duly sworn depose and say that the said John S. Chuk the testator Subscribed the same in their presence and published the said will and testament or instrument of writing as his last will that he the Said testator was at the time os subscribing the said will of sound mind and more than twenty one years of age and that they the said deponents attested the said will as witnesses there to by subscribing their names to the will in the presence of Said testator.
