I L.M. Klein of the County of Stoddard and State of Missouri aged 27 Twenty Seven years being of sound mind do make and publish this my last will and testament as follows: First. I give and bequeath to my beloved mother Mollie Long and my beloved brother James Klein the following Real Estate in Stoddard County Missouri to wit: North East quarter 1/4 of North West quarter of Section 8 Eight Township 23 Twenty Three Range 10 Ten East also Lot Nos. 15, 16, 17, 18 & 19 in Block N in the town of Bernie. Also all the South East quarter of the South West quarter of Section (4) Four Township 23 Twenty Three Range 10 Ten East. Also one half undivided interest in the North East quarter of the North West quarter of Section (8) eight Township (23) Twenty Three Range 10 Ten. Also the South West quarter of the South West quarter 1/4 Section 4 Four in Township 23 Twenty Three North of Range 10 Ten East. Also all of my un-des... Real Estate in Stoddard and Dunklin counties State of Missouri. Also all my personal property consisting of all monies notes and accounts except named otherwise, stock of all kinds farming utensils and my line of General Merchandise to hold and enjoy absolutely in fee simple. Also I give and bequeath to my beloved brother Amos R. Phillips the sum of one dollar to be paid by my administrator or parties named in this will and testament to the said party or heirs. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this March 12th 1898. L.M. Klein - his mark witness to mark J.C. Chedrins The fore going instrument was at the date thereof signed and declared by the said L.M. Klein to be his last will and testament in the presence of us and with his knowledge and in his presence and in the presence of each other and we attest the above and foregoing will by subscribing our names hereto as witnesses in the presence of L.M. Wilcox Clerk of the probate Court held in and for the county and State aforesaid, personally appeared W.E. Bailey, W.R. Black and J.F. Riddle who are the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of L.M. Klein deceased, and being by me first duly sworn depose and say That the said L.M. Klein the Testator, subscribed the same in their presence and published and declared said will or Instrument of writing to be his last will and testament and that at the time of signing the same he the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and more than twenty-one years of age, and that said deponents attested said will as witnesses thereto by subscribing their names to the same in the presence of the Testator and of each other and at the request of the said testator.
