Bond of Surviving Partner

Know All Men By These Presents, That we, G.R. Dougherty as Principal, and
Jesse Jennings and W.J. Garner, F.S. Congleton and J.B. Pugsley as Securities,
are held and firmly bound unto the state of Missouri in the sum of One Thousand
Dollars, for the payment of which we bind ourselves our heirs, executors and
administrators, firmly by these presents.
Witness our hands and seals, this ___ day of January A.D. 1899.
The Condition of the above bond is that if G.R.Dougherty surviving partner of
the last firm of N.M. Sitz & Co.  Shall use due diligence and fidelity in
closing the affairs of the late copartnership, apply the property thereof in
payment of legal allowances, the expenses of administration, the partnership
debts, and in general to do and perform all other acts and thing which are or
may hereafter be required of him by law, .... an account annually upon oath to
the court of all partnership affairs, including, the property owned by the late
firm, and the debts due thereto, as well as what may have been paid by the
survivor toward the partner-ship debts and what may still be due and owing
therefor and pay over within two years, unless a longer time be allowed, by the
court to the executor or administrator, The excess, if any there be, beyond
satisfying the partnership debts and costs and expenses in closing the affairs
of the copartnership, then the above bond to be void; otherwise to remain in
full force.

On this 25 day of January 1899 personally appeared G.R. Dougherty Principal
and Jesse Jennings and W.J. Garner and F.S. Congleton and J.B. Pugsley as
securities and signed the above bond in my presence.
In testimony, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my official seal at my
office in Bill City, Mo.  The day and year first above written.
