Miller I Margaret E. Miller of the County of Stoddard and State of Missouri and forty Six years being of Sound Mind do Make and Publish this My last will and testament. 1st. I Will and direct that George F. Miller here in after appointed My Executor Pay My Funeral Expenses, all my just debts and the Expenses of administration on my Estate out of My personal Estate. 2nd . I give and bequeath to My two children Clarance Kandall Slack and Efflida Slack and their heirs the following real Estate to Wit: West North East quarter of Section Twenty Six Township Twenty Six, Range ten. Each containing Eighty acres. Also Seven and 75/100 acres in the South West corner of the North East quarter of the North East quarter of Section No. (26) Twenty six, Township (26) Twenty Six North of Range No. (10) Ten East. Also the (23) Twenty three acres and 8/100 acres Beginning at the corners of Section Twenty three Twenty four, Twenty five and Twenty Six, Township___ Range No. (10) ten East. Thence South (29) Twenty Nine Dep... west fifteen chains and thirty four Links. Thence South fifty Seven Links, Thence West, Landar chains and Eighty four Links Thence North Thirteen chains and Eighty nine Links. Thence East Twenty chains and forty Links at place of Beginning. 3rd. I further Will and direct that the above described land remain underived until Efflida Slack arrives at her age of Eighteen years. 4th. I further will and direct that my mother Margaret Walker take charge of My children and that the yearly proceeds of My farms be applied to the necessary Support of My children and My Mother during her life time, and if the yearly proceeds of the farms is not sufficient for Such Support then the necessary Support must be Supplied from other in said Property or So much thereof as is sufficient in addition to the yearly proceeds of my farm. I give and Bequeath to George F. Miller two mules and one horse or mare all of his own selection. The Balance of my personal Property of Eany description I give and Bequeath to My Children to wit: Clarence Kindall Slack and Effleda Slack in equal part. Pg. 99 6th. It is my will and desire that My Mother Margarett Walker act as Guardian of the Person of My children without giving any Bond therefor. 7th It is my will and desire that George F. Miller act as Guardian and curator of the Estate of my children. I hereby appoint George F. Miller Executor of this my last will and Testament. Miller, She being of Sound and disposing Mind to be her Last will and Testament in the presence of us. Mauldin Judge of the Probate Court held in and for the County and State aforesaid personally appeared George W. Miller and William F. Ford who are the Subscribing witnesses to the annexed and foregoing will of Margaret E. Miller, Dec. And being by me first duly Sworn Depose and Say that the Said Margaret E. Miller the testatrix Subscribed the Same in their presence and Published and declared Said will or instrument of writing to be her last will and Testament. And that at the time of Signing the Same She the Said testatrix was of Sound Mind and more than twenty-one years of age and that Said deponents attested Said will as witnesses thereto by Subscribing their names to the Same in the Presence of the testatrix and of Each other and at the request of the Said testatrix.
