Hill, deceased. Know all men by these presents that I, William T. Hill of Stoddard county, and State of Missouri, being of sound mind and memory and knowing the certainty of death, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last will and Testament. 1st , I desire that all my just debts be paid. 2nd I bequeath to my son Willis Edward Hill and his wife - Rosa Elizabeth Hill to have, hold and enjoy during their natural lives the following described real Estate, to wit: The South half of the North East quarter of Section Thirty (30), Township twenty Six (26) Range Nine (9) all in Stoddard county, Missouri being Eighty acres, more or less. 3rd I bequeath to James Claud Hill, son of Willis Edward Hill (and my grandson) to hold in fee Simple absolute after the death of Willie Edward Hill and Rosa Elizabeth Hill aforesaid, the following described Real estate. The south half of the North East quarter of Section Thirty (30) Township Twenty Six (26) Range Nine (9) - being the same land above described. 4th I bequeath my personal pg. 209 property as follows: To my children John C. Hill, Louisa Jane, Rosa Hillan Mossman and Francis May Mattox each the sum of one dollar, in full of all claims of inheritance or descent. To my grandchildren John Taylor, Francis Taylor, Caroline Taylor and Pearl Taylor each the sum of one Dollar in full of all claims of inheritance or descent. 5th I bequeath the remainder of my personal property to my son Willis Edward Hill. Hill in our presence and acknowledged by him and to each of us, and he at the same time published and declared the above and foregoing instrument and writing so subscribed to be his last will and testament and we at the testators request and in his presence and in the presence of each other signed our names as witnesses and written apposite our names our respective places of residence. Pg. 210 State of Missouri, County of Stoddard Be it Remembered that on the 9th day of April 1901, personally appeared before me the undersigned Clerk of The Stoddard County Circuit Court, W.F. Ford and N.E. Waller, the witnesses to the foregoing Last will and testament of William T. Hill and being by me duly sworn, say the said William T. Hill the Testator, subscribed the same in their presence, and published the said will and testament of writing to be his last will and testament; that the testator was at the time of publishing his said Will of sound mind and memory, and more than twenty-one years of age, and that said deponents attested said will as witnesses thereto, by subscribing their names to the same in the presence of the Testator, and the presence of each other and at the request of the testator. Tucker Clerk of Probate Proof of Will State of Missouri, County of Stoddard In the Probate Court Be it Remembered that on this the 23rd day of October A.D. 1902, before me Thomas Connelly, Judge of Probate Court, held in and for the county and State aforesaid, personally appeared W.F. Ford and N.E. Waller, who are the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of William T. Hill, deceased, and being by me first duly sworn, depose and say That the said William T. Hill, the Testator, subscribed the same in their presence, and published and declared said will or Instrument of writing to be his last will and testament, and that at the time of signing the same, he the said testator was of sound mind, and more than twenty-one years of age, and that said deponents attested said will as witnesses thereto, by subscribing their names to the same in the presence of the Testator, and of each other and at the {word covered} pg. 212 of the said testator. Thomas Connelly Probate Judge Certificate of Probate State of Missouri, County of Stoddard In the Probate Court in vacation October 23, A.D. 1902 I Thomas Connelly , Judge of the Probate Court of Stoddard County, Missouri, having Examined the foregoing Instrument of date _________, purporting to be the Last Will and testament of William T. Hill, deceased, and signed by said William T. Hill, deceased, late of Stoddard County and having heard the testimony of W.F. Hill and N.E. Waller, subscribing witnesses thereto, in relation to the Execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said Instrument of date April 9th 1902 the Last Will and testament of said William T. Hill deceased, and the same is therefore admitted to Probate. In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said Court pg. 213 at office this 23" day of October, 1902. Thomas Connelly Probate Judge pg. 214 Executors Bond or bond of Administrator with Will annexed We, Willis Edw. Hill, as principal and Job C. Rister and John Hill as Securities are held and firmly bound unto the State of Missouri, in the sum Eight hundred Dollars, for the payment of which we do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these presents Sealed with our seals and dated at Bloomfield in the State aforesaid, this 31" day of October A.D. 1902. The condition of the above Bond is that if the said Willis Edw. Hill Administrator with Will annexed of the said Last Will and Testament of William T. Hill deceased, late of Stoddard County, Missouri shall well and faithfully execute the said Last Will and testament and shall make faithful and true inventories, returns and settlements of accounts of the Estate of the said Testator, according to law and shall moreover, do and perform all other matters and things touching the execution of the said Last Will and testament, as are or shall be prescribed by law, or enjoined on me by order, sentence or decree of any court having competent jurisdiction, then this pg. 215 obligation to be void and of no effect, otherwise to remain in full force. Tucker, Clk of Probate Oath State of Missouri County of Stoddard The undersigned Willis Edw. Hill adm. With will annexed of the last will and Testament of Wm. T. Hill deceased late of Stoddard County, Missouri personally appeared before me, the clerk of the Probate Court in and for Stoddard County, Missouri and being duly sworn by me upon his oath says that he will execute a true and perfect Inventory of all and Singular the goods and chattels, Lands and tenements, rights {word covered} pg. 216 credits of the said Testator, according to law, and will well and truly execute or administer the Last Will and Testament of the said Testator, by paying first his debts, and then the legacies contained in said Last Will and Testament, as far as the assetts of the said Testator will extend and the law directs, render just accounts and faithfully perform all things required by law touching such executorship or administration. Tucker Clerk of Probate Letters Testamentary State of Missouri County of Stoddard To all to whom these presents shall come - Greeting: Know ye, that the last will and testament of William T. Hill, deceased, late of Stoddard County, Missouri, hath in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, in the office of the Judge of the Probate Court of Stoddard County, Missouri, a copy of which is hereunto annexed; and inasmuch as it appears that Willis Edw. Hill has been appointed Executor with will annexed of the said Last Will and pg. 217 Testament to execute the same, and to the end that the property of the said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest therein and that the said Last Will and testament May be executed according to the request and instruction of the Testator, we do hereby authorize him the said Willis E. Hill, as such Executor, to collect and secure all and singular, the goods and chattels, rights and credits, which were of the said Wm. T. Hill's at the time of his death, in whosoever hands or possession the same may be found, and to perform and fulfill all such duties as may be enjoined upon him by said Last will and Testament so far as there shall be property, and the law charges him; and in general to do and perform all other acts which are now are or may be hereafter required of him by law.
