Boyd as Principal and M. P. Renner and J.B. Buck as securities are held and firmly bound unto the State of Missouri in the Sum of Two Thousand Dollars, for the payment of which we bind ourselves and our heirs, executors and administrators firmly by these presents. Witness our hands and seals this 6th day of February, 1903. The Condition of the above obligation is that if James E. Boyd the Surviving partner of the late firm of Buck & Boyd - J.L. Buck, deceased, Shall use due diligence and Fidelity in closing the affairs of the late copartnership apply the property thereof towards the payment of the legal allowances, the expense of administration the partnership debts, and in general do and perform all other acts and things which are or may hereafter be required of him by law, render an account annually, upon oath to the Court of all the Partnership affairs including the property owned by the late firm and the debts due thereto, as well as what may have been paid by the Survivor toward the Partnership debts, and what my still be due and owing therefor and pay over within two years, unless a longer time is allowed by the Court to the Executor or administrator the Excess, if any there be beyond Satisfying this partnership debts and costs and expenses in closing the affairs of the copartnership, then the above bond pg. 221 to be void; otherwise to remain in full force.
