Evans, of the City of Bloomfield, in the County of Stoddard and state of Missouri, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament. All the property of whatever kind and wherever situated which I may own at the time of my death, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Edna Evans. I appoint my said wife, Edna Evans executrix of this my last Will and testament. Dated this 18th day of April 1912. Samuel M. Evans We the undersigned hereby attest that the above and foregoing was declared and published by the said Samuel M. Evans to us to be his last will and testament and that we, in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other here by sign the same as witnesses thereto, and we further certify that at the time of making said will said Samuel M. Evans died testate at New Orleans, Louisiana, on the 13th day of May 1919, leaving as his heirs at law Edna Evans, widow; S.P. Evans, mother; J. Mat Evans, brother, Willie Cosm...., sister; Rhoda Evans, sister; Belle Ludwrik, sister; Alberta Williams, sister; Lattie Wellington, sister; Lizzie Herrit, sister; Anna Evans, sister; Maude Coleman, sister; Olive Eddleman, sister; and Barkley Evans, brother. Evans - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, hath, in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, in the office of the -Judge - of the Probate Court of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, a copy of which is hereunto annexed; and Inasmuch as it appears that - Edna Evans - ha - s- been appointed execut -rix - in and by said Last Will and Testament, to execute the same, and to the end that the property of the said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest therein, and that the said Last Will and Testament may be executed according to the request and instruction of the said Testator, we do hereby authorize -her - the said - Edna Evans - as such Execut-rix -, to collect and secure, all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits, which were of the said - Samuel M. Evans - at the time of h - is - death, in whosoever hands or possession the same may be found; and to perform and fulfill all such duties as may be enjoined upon -her - by said Last Will and Testament, so far as there shall be property and the law charge -her - ; and in general to do and perform all other acts which are now or may be hereafter required of -her - by law.
