I, R.S. Coleman, being of sound mind and memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament at Bloomfield, Stoddard County, Missouri, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. First: It is my desire that my funeral shall be conducted under the direction of my beloved wife, Priscilla H. Coleman, if living, and if dead, than under the direction of my beloved children, and that all of my funeral expenses which shall be very simple and inexpensive, out of my personal estate, if possible. Second: It is my desire that all of my just debts be paid out of my estate, and I hereby declare that I owe, or did owe, the following amounts and to the following named; but I hereby direct that my Executrix hereinafter named, shall fully investigate any and all of said claims before paying any or all of them, and should she find that they are valid claims against my estate, then I direct that she shall pay them, or those which she shall find that I owe and have not paid, viz: $125.00 to the New York Store Company of Cairo, Ill. $300.00 to Alkire Grocery Company of St. Louis, Mo. $300.00 to Dequire Milling Co. Of Fredricktown, Mo. $40.00 to Paul G. Schuk Drug Co. Of Cairo, Ill. $30.50 to Mitchill Sadlery Co. Paducoh, Ky. $31.11 to Fred Luth Meat Co. Of St. Louis, Mo. $53.82 to Scott Hardware Co. Of Paducoh, Ky. $13.50 to Teadman, Cairo, Ill. $13.25 to Gesler, St. Louis, Mo. $110.00 to Wood Bennett, Cairo, Ill. $20.00 to Smith & Sins, St. Louis, Mo. $24.00 to Schurder Grocery Co. Of St. Louis Mo. All of said accounts are contracted in the year of 1895, and I hereby direct that no interest shall be paid on any of said accounts. Third: I hereby give and bequeath, share and share alike all the rest of my property both personal and real and wherever situate except Lots 11 and 12 in Block one (1) Book's addition to the City of Bloomfield, Missouri (my home place), to my beloved children and wife, viz: Clarence H. Colman, Samuel R. Coleman and Arthur B. Coleman, my three sons, Priscilla Hill Coleman, my wife, and Harrold T. Larry, my grand son. Fourth: It is my will and wish that my beloved wife, Priscilla Hill Colman, shall have the use and benefits of the above described real property (my home place) in Bloomfield, Missouri so long as she may live, /pg. 2/ and at her death, the title to said property shall be vested in my three children and grand son, share and share alike, as above stated. Fifth: I hereby appoint my beloved wife Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament and I hereby direct that she, Priscilla Hill Coleman, shall act as such without giving bond, and I hereby especially authorize her, as such Executrix, to sell any and all of my property, both personal and real, or mixed, as in her judgement seems best, with or without an order of the Probate Court of Stoddard County, Missouri, or without the order of any Probate Court of any other county in Missouri in which I might own land at the time of my death, for the purpose of paying all of my just debts as she may finally determine after a fair and full investigations of the above accounts and any and all obligations that I may hereafter make. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name, this first day of October, 1920. R.S. Coleman The foregoing instrument was at the date thereof signed and declared by the said R.S. Coleman, Sr. to be his Last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, who, at his request and in his presence, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto at Bloomfield, Missouri, on this First day of October, 1920. Walker Cooper, Judge of Probate, personally appeared Priscilla Hill Coleman, who being duly sworn says that to the best information and belief of affiant R.S. Coleman died testate at Bloomfield, Mo. On the 24th day of March, 1921; having as his heirs at law Priscilla Hill Coleman, widow; Clarence H. Coleman, son; Samuel R. Coleman, son; Arthur B. Coleman, son; and Harrold T. Larry, grand-son. Walker Cooper, Judge - of the-Probate -Court, held in and for - the County of Stoddard -and State of Missouri, personally appeared -H.S. Green, G.M. Barham and Ben Wilson - who being duly sworn upon - their -oath, depose- - and say- -that - they -w -ere - present and saw -R.S. Coleman - sign the foregoing instrument, of date -October 1st - 19 -20 - purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament of h - him - the said -R.S. Coleman - and heard - him -publish and declare the same to be h -is - Last Will and Testament, and that at the time of signing the same, the said - R.S. Coleman -was of sound and disposing mind, and that th -ese - deponent -s the other witness -es - subscribed their names thereto as witnesses to the same in the presence of the testat -or - and of each other, and at the request of the said testat -or - who was more than 21 years of age at the date of so declaring and signing said instrument. Coleman - deceased, and signed by said - R.S. Coleman - deceased, late of-Stoddard - County,- Missouri -and having heard the testimony of -H.S. Green, G.M. Barham - and -Ben Wilson - subscribing witnesses thereto, in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said Instrument -is - the Last Will and Testament of said - R.S. Coleman - deceased, late of-Stoddard - County, Missouri, hath, in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, in the office of the -Judge - of the Probate Court of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, a copy of which is hereunto annexed; and Inasmuch as it appears that -Priscilla Hill Coleman - ha -s - been appointed execut -rix - in and by said Last Will and Testament, to execute the same, and to the end that the property of the said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest therein, and that the said Last Will and Testament may be executed according to the request and instruction of the said Testator, we do hereby authorize - her - the said -Priscilla Hill Coleman - as such Execut- rix -, to collect and secure, all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits, which were of the said - R.S. Coleman - at the time of h - is - death, in whosoever hands or possession the same may be found; and to perform and fulfill all such duties as may be enjoined upon - her - by said Last Will and Testament, so far as there shall be property and the law charge -her - ; and in general to do and perform all other acts which are now or may be hereafter required of -her - by law.
