Bowen-of the-County of-Stoddard -and State of-Missouri being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this, my Last Will and Testament: in manner and form following: I give devise and Bequeath my Estate and property Real and personal as follows that is to say: -That I devise to Sarah E. Bowen my wife the Real Estate and Personal Property to wit: One dwelling house situate on lots No. Five and Six in Block Six in George Houcks adition to the town of Puxio Missouri together with all the household appurtenances Except one full Bed and Bedding and one Shot Gun and watch. And next I bequeath and devise all the remainder of my property in equal shares between my three children. That is to say: one third of my property Real and Personal to Alice Bryan and one third to Susanna Meek and the remainder 1/3 to Cleo and Minnie Harmon who are children of my daughter Anna E. Harmon, Except my shot gun and watch which I bequeath Especially to Cleo Harmon my grandson and one full Bed and Bedding to Minnie Harmon my grand daughter. And I appoint W.S. Harmon of Stoddard County Missouri Executor of this my Will in witness whereof I have signed and Sealed Published and declared this Instrument as my Will at Puxio, Stoddard County Missouri on this the twenty seventh day of February in the year of our Lord Nine Hundred and six. And last and again I hereby constitute and appoint J.R. Pride, George Parsley, E.F. Williamson to be the witnesses of this my last will and testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me made and ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and testament. Crosser, Clerk - of the-Probate -Court, held in and for-the County of Stoddard -and State of Missouri, personally appeared -E.F. Williamson and John R. Pride - who being duly sworn upon -their -oath, depose- -and say- -that -they -w -ere - present and saw -G.W. Bowen - sign the foregoing instrument, of date -February 27th - 19 -06 - purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament of h -im - the said - G.W. Bowen - and heard -him -publish and declare the same to be h - is - Last Will and Testament, and that at the time of signing the same, the said -G.W. Bowen -was of sound and disposing mind, and that th - e - deponent -s subscribed their names thereto as witnesses to the same in the presence of the testat -or - and of each other, and at the request of the said testat -or - who was more than 21 years of age at the date of so declaring and signing said instrument. Bowen - deceased, and signed by said - G.W. Bowen - deceased, late of-Stoddard - County,- Missouri -and having heard the testimony of -E.F. Williamson - and - John R. Pride - subscribing witnesses thereto, in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said Instrument - - the Last Will and Testament of said - G.W. Bowen - deceased, late of-Stoddard - County, Missouri, hath, in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, in the office of the - Judge - of the Probate Court of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, a copy of which is hereunto annexed; and Inasmuch as it appears that - W.S. Harmon - ha -s - been appointed execut -or - in and by said Last Will and Testament, to execute the same, and to the end that the property of the said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest therein, and that the said Last Will and Testament may be executed according to the request and instruction of the said Testator, we do hereby authorize - him - the said - W.S. Harmon - as such Execut-or -, to collect and secure, all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits, which were of the said -G.W. Bowen - at the time of h - is - death, in whosoever hands or possession the same may be found; and to perform and fulfill all such duties as may be enjoined upon -him - by said Last Will and Testament, so far as there shall be property and the law charge - him - ; and in general to do and perform all other acts which are now or may be hereafter required of -him - by law.
