W. Majors I P.P.W. Majors, of the County of Stoddard and State of Missouri being in good health of body, and of sound and disposing mind and memory and being desirous of setting my worldly affairs while I have strength and capacity so to do, do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament that is to say: First: I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Henrietta Mariah Majors, one choice bed and bedding, one choice chair and one choice trunk. I devise at my death that all my personal property of whatever kind (except what is above bequeathed to my wife) shall be sold at public auction and the amount of money realized from said sale, I give and bequeath share and share alike to my wife Henrietta Mariah Majors and my beloved children Samuel P. Majors, Thomas J. Majors, Elisha P. Majors, Thaddius D. Majors, Malinda Mariah Jarrell and Matilda McMillen. Second: I desire that all my real estate described as follows, The North West qr. Of the South West qr. Section twelve in township twenty five Range No. 9 east, containing 40 acres, more or less, and the North East qr. Of the South East qr. Of Section No. 11, Township No. Twenty-five Range No. 9 East, containing 40 acres, and the North East qr. Of the South West qr. And the South half of the South East qr. Of the North West qr. And the North West qr. Of the South West qr. Of Section twelve in Township twenty-five North of Range No. 9, East containing in the aggregate 100 acres, all in Stoddard Co. Mo., shall be rented for cash rent and kept in good repair until my son Thaddius D. Majors is Twenty-one years of age, and the money realized from this source (except a sufficient amount to keep said real estate in good repair) I desire put in a fund and held by my executor hereinafter named until my said son, Thaddius d. Majors, is twenty one years of age at which time I desire my Executors to sell all of the above described real Estate upon such terms with reference to cash and time as in their Judgement shall seem best, and the amount of money realized from the sale of said real estate together with the amount realized from renting said real estate, I give and bequeath share and share alike to /pg.2/my children Samuel P. Majors, Thomas J. Majors, Elisha P. Majors, Thaddius D. Majors, Malinda Mariah Jarrell and Frances Matilda McMillen. Third: To my beloved children Adrian A. Majors, Juda Anna Jarrell and Robert B. Majors, I give and bequeath nothing. Fourth: I appoint as Executors of this my last will and testament Thos. A. Riddle and Joseph Howell, and I desire that Thomas A. Riddle shall at my death take charge of, and execute this Will and in the event of his death or inability to act, I desire that Joseph Howell shall act in his place. Green, Judge - of the-Probate -Court, held in and for- Stoddard County -and State of Missouri, personally appeared - W.J. Rainey and W.R. Edwards appeared before me W.S. Green Probate Judge of Stoddard County Missouri, on Jun 6th 1907 - who being duly sworn upon -their -oaths, depose- -and say- -that -they -w -ere -present and saw -P.P.W. Majors - sign the foregoing instrument, of date -May 18th, 1895 purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament of h -im - the said - P.P.W. Majors - and heard -him -publish and declare the same to be h - is - Last Will and Testament, and that at the time of signing the same, the said -P.P.W. Majors -was of sound and disposing mind, and that th -ese - deponent -s - and A.L. Dowdy the other attesting witnes - - subscribed their names thereto as witnesses to the same in the presence of the testat - or - and of each other, and at the request of the said testat -or - who was more than 21 years of age at the date of so declaring and signing said instrument. That is to say that W.J. Rainey appeared and made proof of said Will on May 31st 1907, and that W.R. Edwards appeared and made proof thereof on the 6th day of June, 1907. W.J. Rainey W.R. Majors - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, hath, in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, in the office of the - - of the Probate Court of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, a copy of which is hereunto annexed; and Inasmuch as it appears that -Thomas A. Riddle - ha -s - been appointed execut -or - in and by said Last Will and Testament, to execute the same, and to the end that the property of the said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest therein, and that the said Last Will and Testament may be executed according to the request and instruction of the said Testator, we do hereby authorize -him - the said -Thomas A. Riddle - as such Execut-or -, to collect and secure, all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits, which were of the said -P.P.W. Majors - at the time of h -is - death, in whosoever hands or possession the same may be found; and to perform and fulfill all such duties as may be enjoined upon -him - by said Last Will and Testament, so far as there shall be property and the law charge -him - ; and in general to do and perform all other acts which are now or may be hereafter required of -him - by law. Riddle, Executor -of the Last Will and Testament of -P.P.W. Majors - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County, Missouri shall well and faithfully execute the said Last Will and Testament, and shall make true and faithful inventories, returns, and settlements of accounts of the Estate of the said Testator, according to law, and shall, moreover, do and perform all other matters and things touching the execution of the said Last Will and testament, as are or shall be prescribed by law, or enjoined on - him - by the order, judgment or decree of any Court having competent jurisdiction, then this obligation to be void and of no effect; otherwise to remain in full force.
