Sullivan County, Missouri, Warranty Deed - Robert M. Sharp Book O, pp. 551-552 This indenture made and entered into on this the third of February AD one thousand eight hundred and Sixty by and between Robert M. Sharp and Louisa Sharp his wife of Sullivan County and State of Missouri as party of the first part and Henry Johnson of Sullivan County and State of Missouri as party of the second part. Witnesseth: that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Tow(sic) hundred and fifty dollars to them paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged do by these presents grant, bargain and sell, confirm and convey unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever the following described real estate situated in the County of Sullivan and State of Missouri to wit The East half of the North East quarter of Section No. Eight (8) in Township Sixty one (61) of Range twenty one (21) containing eighty acres more or less to have and hold the same with all the rights, Privileges and appurtenances therefore belonging or in anywise appertaining to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of him the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever, the said party of the first hereby covenanting that themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators shall and will warrant and defend the title to the said premises and every part thereof unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons Whomsoever. In Testimony Whereof the said party of the first part of the first part (sic) have hereunto set their hand and seal the day and year first herein written. Robert M. Griffeth a Justice of the Peace within and for the County and State aforesaid personally came Robert M. Sharp and Louisa Sharp his wife who are personally known to me to be the same persons whose names are subscribed to the within and foregoing deed as having executed the same a party thereto and that they severally acknowledged the same to be their voluntary act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned she the said Louisa Sharp being by me first made acquainted with the contents thereof and examined separate and apart from her husband whether she executed the said instrument of writing freely, voluntarily and without compulsion or undue influence of her said husband acknowledged and declaried(sic) that she executed the said deed and relinquished her dower in said land and tenements mentioned voluntarily, freely and without compulsion or undue influence of her said husband taken and certified the day and year first above written.
