Sullivan County, Missouri, Warranty Deed - Robert M. Sharp Book I, pp. 220-221 This Indenture made and Entered into on this the fifteenth day of February AD one Thousand Eight hundred and Sixty two by and between Robert M. Sharp and Louisa Sharp of Sullivan County and State of Missouri as party of the first part and Alfred Jacobs of Sullivan County of Sullivan County (sic) and State of Missouri as party of the second part. Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one Thousand Dollars in hand paid by the said party of the Second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents, grant, bargain and sell, confirm and convey unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever, the following described real estate, Situated in the County of Sullivan and State of Missouri, to wit, the North half of the South East quarter of Section Sixteen (16) and the North half of the South East quarter of Section No. Seventeen (17) and the South half of the North East quarter of Section Seventeen (17) all in Township Sixty one (61) and Range Twenty one (21) Containing Two Hundred and forty acres more or less. To have and to hold the same, with all the rights, privileges and appurtenances, thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to only proper use, benefit and behoof of him the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever. The said party of the first part hereby covenanting that themselves, their executors and administrators, shall and will warrant and defend the title to the said premises, and every part thereof, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. In testimony whereof the said party of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year first herein written. Signed, sealed, and acknowledged in Presence of W. G. Griffith R. Sharp (Seal) her Louisa X Sharp (Seal) mark State of Missouri County of Sullivan: Be it remembered that on this Fifteenth day of February in the year of our Lord, Eighteen hundred and sixty two before me W. Griffith a Justice of the Peace within and for the County and State aforesaid, personally appeared Robert M. Sharp and Louisa Sharp who are personally known to me to be persons whose name are subscribed to the within and foregoing deed as having executed the same as a party thereto, and that they severally acknowledged the same to be their voluntary act and deed for the purpose therein mentioned. She the said Louisa Sharp being by me first made acquainted with the contents thereof and examined separate and apart from her husband, whether she executed the said instrument of writing, freely, voluntarily and without compulsion or undue influence of her said husband, acknowledged that she executed the said Deed, and relinquishes her dower in the said lands and tenements mentioned voluntarily, freely and without compulsion or undue influence of her said husband.
