Sharp Book E, pp. 513-514 This Indenture made and entered into in this the Fifth day of February AD one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine by and between Margaret Lamphere & John Lamphere her husband of Sullivan County and State of Missouri as parties of the first parts and Robert M. Sharp of Sullivan County and State of Missouri as party of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration for the sum of two hundred and twenty five dollars to them paid by the said party of the second part the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged do by these presents grant bargain and sell confirm and convey unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever the following described land or real estate situated in the County of Sullivan and State of Missouri to wit the East half of the North East quarter of section No. eight (8) in Township No. Sixty one (61) of Range No. twenty one (21) containing eighty (80) acres more or less. To have and to hold the said with all the rights and privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining to only proper use, benefit and behoof of him the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever the said parties of the first part hereby covenanting that they, their heirs, executors and administrators shall and will warrant and defend the title to the said premises and every part thereof unto the said party of the second part, his heirs, and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whomsoever.
