Sullivan County, Missouri, Warranty Deed - Robert M. Sharp Book H, pp. 272-273 To all to whom these Presents shall come I Henry Clem administrator of the estate of Stephen J. Stone deceased send greeting. Whereas on the 5th day of April AD 1859 the Probate Court of the County of Sullivan in the State of Missouri at the April Term 1859 of said court ordered by an entry of record that I as administrator of said Estate sell at public sale for one fourth of the Purchase money cash in hand & the other three fourths in equal payments of court, eight and twelve months the North half of the South West qu of Section Eleven in Township Sixty one of Range Twenty one containing eighty acres situato in the said County of Sullivan, or so much thereof as may be necessary to pay the debts of said Estate. And whereas previously to the day of sale hereinafter mentioned I as such administrator caused a notice that said Real Estate wud(sic) be sold at public sale on the 5(sic) day of July 1859 while the Probate Court of said County of Sullivan was in session at the Court house door of said County for one fourth cash in hand & the balance in a credit of four eight & twelve months, to be published in the Weekly Milan Farmer a newspaper published in this state for four Weeks and whe(r)e as previously to such day of sale I as such administrator had said real Estate appraised in due form of Law by Samuel R. Fields, Hugh C. Warren and Isaac Schrock th(r)ee disinterested house holders of said County who on the 25th day of June 1859 having first made the affadavit(sic) required by Law, appraised said Real Estate to be of the value of Eight Hundred dollars and so certified in their certificate of appraisment(sic) by virtue of which said order of sale notice and appraisment(sic) and the power in me by Law vested so to do I as such administrator did on said 5(sic) day of July 1859 between the hours of Nine in the forenoon & five in the afternoon of that day at the Court House door of said County of Sullivan while the Probate Court of said County was in session expire to sale openly at public auction on a credit of Twelve Months all the right, title and interest which said Stephen J. Stone had in and to said Real Estate at the time of his death and Robert M. Sharp being the highest and last bidder for said real Estate at the price and sum of Four Hundred and one dollars the same was stricken off and sold to the said Robert M. Sharp for that sum and Whereas at the term of the Probate Court of said County of Sullivan next following the sale of said Real Estate being the July Term 1859 of said Probate Court and on the 5th day of July 1859 as such administrator made to said Court a report verified by my affadavit(sic) as the law dricts(sic) and accompanied by the certificate of appraisment(sic) and a copy of the advertisement of my proceedings ¿touching/vouching? such sale including the manner, time, terms and place of sale and of the Property sold and to whom sold all as heretofore set forth and which report was there upon approved by said court by its proper order entered of record. Now therefore in consideration of the premises and the said sum of four Hundred & one dollars to me said administrator paid by the said Robert M. Sharp the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and by virtue of the authority in me rested by law I Henry Clem administrator as aforesaid do hereby grant, sell & convey to the said Robert M. Sharp all the right, title & interest which the said Stephen J. Stone had of, in and to said Real Estate at the time of his death To Have and to hold the right, title and interest hereby conveyed unto the said Robert M. Sharp his heirs and assigns forever with all rights and priveliges(sic) thereunto belonging.
