LEGRAN; Son of; R.M. & L. SHARP; BORN; Jan. 11, 1862; DIED; June 4, 1878
[Semicolon indicates new line on tombstone.] Legran Sharp was the son of 
Robert Martin Sharp and Louisa Jacobs-Sharp, both buried in Hoover Cemetery.

As of March 8, 2007, this is the only evidence that Legran Sharp existed--his 
tombstone. Although he apparently lived through the 1870 census, and his 
mother and sibblings can be accounted for either in Sullivan County, Missouri, 
Wabaunsee County, Kansas, or Morris County, Kansas, he is not identified in 
any of these census records.

Digital photograph taken by Dan S. Sharp on October 7, 2002. Hoover Cemetery 
is located north of Browning going west from Browning 1/2 mile, then north one 
mile, and east off the road nearly 1/2 mile in Section 30, Township 61 North, 
Range 20 West.
