CANADA Cemetery, Clinton Township, Texas County, Missouri S22, T29N, R12W Current as of October 2000 This is the family burial ground of John Jackson CANADA. Some family members were exhumed and moved to the Hillcrest Cemetery in Mt. Grove. In the past the cemetery was not maintained and was quite rundown. Janice Bales and other family members have done a tremendous amount of cleaning and put up a new fence and new grave markers. Directions to the cemetery: From Mt. Grove take highway 95 north to Red Springs Road. Turn right (east) on Red Springs Road (past the SMSU building) and follow to County Line Road. Turn left (north) on County Line Road to Beaver Road (County Line Road will turn right (east) and then back left (north) before getting to Beaver Road). Turn right (east) on Beaver Road, the road curves around and crosses a low water ford. Take the first driveway to the left (Shannon Driveway) and the cemetery is behind their home about 30 yards.
