The dead:Lafayette Frew,aged 50, livestock speculator. C.F.Norton, aged 35, employe of Stockyards Company. Joseph Dillingham, aged 50, livestock speculator. Mrs. Anna Weston,of Gentry Conuty,Missouri,guest. Gilbert Weston, 12 years old, son of the dead woman,is fatally burned, and William Simmons,a cattle buyer, was badly hurt by jumping from a third story window. The fire started in the kitchen of the hotel, which was a frame building, and the guests and boarders were aroused with great difficulty. The three dead men were boarders ans unmarried.
