Bryan and Robert Rose, Published by Bryan, Brand & Co., St. Louis Missouri, 1876. ********************************************************************** Jared Irvine was one of the early settlers of Warren County. He married Mary Peebles, and they had: Eliza J., Louisa and John. Mr. Irvine served as a soldier in the War of 1812, when he was only sixteen years of age. He was captured in one of the battles and taken to Canada, and after his exchange he walked from Canada to his home in Kentucky.
