Sketch of Mr. Ketchersides, Warren County, Missouri

A man named Ketchersides, a cooper by trade, came from Tennessee at a
very early date, and settled on Massey's Creek in what is now Warren
County, Missouri.  He remained only one year, when he sold out and re-
turned to Tennessee.  In about another year he made his appearance in
Missouri again, but remained only a short time, when he went back to
his old State.  He continued in this way until his death, remaining in
one State only so long as it was neccessary to get money enough to 
take him back to the other.
