BEAR CREEK CEMETERY - Warren County, Missouri (Actual Cemetery name is unknown) From St. Louis drive west on interstate 70. leave the highway at the High Hill exit and take the south frontage road east to the first gravel road. It may be marked Bear Creek Road. Watch for the county line. There is a clearing on the west side of the road and the gravel on the road changes. A. only a footstone Further research: In the 1920 Federal Census of Bridgeport Township, Warren County, Missouri I found only Andrew J. Haywood is age 60 born in Virginia and living with a ?second wife Savanah age 40 born in Mississippi and a grandson Noah age 27 born in Missouri. Andrew's occupation is listed as 'minister of gospel'. No one in this family could read or write. Am looking for any church which might be associated with this group of graves. Any help appreciated.
