Briscoe Cemetery, Wayne County, Missouri, Briscoe Cemetery: Off Highway Z on gravel road #515 for about 1.6 miles to a log road on the right. Then walk 0.2 of a mile . The cemetery is about 2 acres, has not been used in over 50 years, and is hard to find. The marked graves are: Mariah Briscoe Joseph Davis Martha A. Green Davis Walter T.Davis Mendose J. Rogers Peter S. Rogers There are 15-25 unmarked graves there . My grand parent James M. Brantley and Mary Redman-Brantley are buried there between 1877 and 1887 , more Brantley's are buried there between 1850 and 1900, but I’m not sure who or when. . l was told the last person buried their was a lady named Johnson in the 1930's during the depression. If any one is interested in cleaning the cemetery up or has information about who is buried there please let me know. Sidney L.
