Obituary

Died at his home on Bear Creek, Friday, Oct 28, 1904, John A. Ward.  
He was in his 74th year.  Uncle John, as he was familiarly known, had resided 
in Wayne County for over fifty years.  He was a consistent member of the 
M. E. Church, and had been for forty years.  His funeral was preached by the 
writer at the E. O. Twidwell  Cemetery in the presence of a large audience.  
He leaves a wife, several children and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
