TOMPSON. Judge. Maryville Mo Dec 5 1903 J. F. CLOUD Grant City Mo. Dear sir In reply to your inquiry Concerning the State of Austin ALLYN deceased. Will say that from An Examination of the Records of the Probate Court I find that Hulda V ALLYN Was appointed and qualified as administratrix of said estate on may 2" 1871 and was finally discharged September 4" 1882 that a Petition for the Sale of East half of the Southeast quarter of Section 35 Township 67 range 33 Was filed the 29" day of July 1873 that purpose of said sale was for the payment of Debts of the Deceased. that said order was made at the October term of said Court to wit October 22" - 1873 that said order Was renewed at the January 1874 term of this court that the appraisement of the aforesaid land was made by James BOYLE, John WINEMILLER and Eli BRADFORD the amount Being 200.00: That Report of sale was made and sale confirmed at the Feb 1880 term of this Court to wit: Feb 18 1880 In the order confirming sale the amount of the appraisement is given at $250.00 While the appointment its self (sic) is given at $200.00 there is no record of the administratrix havind (sic) been ordered to make deed to Purchaser the record simply being (Sale Confirmed and approved) {___ unreadable word} believe that the above and foregoing Covers all The Points raised by you I hereby Certify that the Above statement is correct.
