Brown Cemetery, Wright County, Missouri BROWN CEMETERY--South Highway 5 to Orville Road (this is 2.1 miles from Highway O) turn left on Orville. Orville Road will end at a Y in the road. To the left is Griffin Road. To the right is Persimmion. Follow Persimmon across Stein's Creek, past the Rue farm. The cemetery is at the top of a long hill and to the right. This is the old Belfield Brown Farm. He homesteaded here on November 23, 1891. Another way to get to the Brown Cemetery is to take the paved AA highway just north of Grovespring. Follow it until it ends in a T with Persimmon (a dirt road). Turn to the left to the top of the first hill. Look to your left to see the Brown Cemetery sign made by Raymond Kensinger.You must cross the fence to get to the cemetery. It is in some trees. The cemetery is on the farm now owned by Doyle Rue.
