Burial will be in the National Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral System. The procession will leave the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. Saturday. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Evangelist Brown was born Sept. 29, 1927, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jackson Sr. She was educated in the Fort Adams Public School, was an evangelist in the Adams, Jefferson and Wilkinson county areas, was Pastor of the Temple of Prayer Full Gospel Church of Deliverance Inc. of Woodville and a member of a Quartet singing group and a guitar player. Survivors include three brothers, Henry Jackson and his wife, Bertha of Natchez, Joseph Jackson and his wife, Annie of Woodville and Donald Ray Jackson and his wife, Susie of Pascola, Calif.; two sisters, Pastor Mary Trash of New Orleans and Martha Williams of Baton Rouge; Goddaughter, Martha Jean Sullivan of Pine Bluff, Ark. Pallbearers will be Eddie Trash, David Jackson, Sr., Justin Sullivan, JaMel Jackson and Sidney Williams. The family requests memorials be made to American Lung Association.
