company A to Meet
Corinth, Miss Aug 8  Plans are bing made for a reunion of Company A, Second 
Mississippi Infantry, World War I.  R. O. McKewen, service officer at the 
Veterans' Service Center, said an effort is being made to contact all living 
members of the company with a view to having them attend a reunion at a date to 
be selected later.

The company was orgainzed in Corinth, August 5, 1917, with Willis C. Mathis, 
Captain;  Hugh E. Stephenson, first lieutenant; John Benny, second lieutenant; 
Alonzo H. Taylor, first sergeant; John B. Pounds, supply sergeant; and Myrlin 
McCullar, mess sergeant.

Additional Comments:
This is from a scrap book belonging to my grandmother, Augusta Blankenship 
Benny.  It was trimmed, therefore there is no year date or name of publication 
information.
