S. Bishop of the Corinth Negro Schools to those individuals and firms who have contributed toward the band uniforms which will be purchased soon for the new Easom High School Band, directed by James Boyd. Bishop singled out Mrs. Emma Elzy for tireless devotion to the task of raising the funds and said others who have helped by promoting parties and activities to raise funds, include Mrs. Eula Mae Johnson, Mrs. Ida Stewart, James Pruitt, Mrs. Nanny Deansons, Mrs. Lizzie Patterson, Mrs. Mary Ann Grayson, and others. The new uniforms will be black and gold in color, Bishop added, the traditional color of the Corinth Yellowjacket.
