Bishop has announced the faculty for Easom High School and Scale Street Elementary School for the 1955-56 school session. He had earlier stated that approximately 350 students were enrolled at Scale Street with 200 or more expected to begin classes today at Easom High School in the 7th through 12th grades. The 17-member faculty at the local Negro schools follows: Easom High-James Boyd, band and social science; Mrs. Josie Brooks, social science and library; Joe L. Cain, coach, mathematics and science; Princella Chandler, English; Mrs. Ollie Grayson, Commercial Education; Mrs. Allene Demby Cain, home economics; Robert Jones, vocational subjects; and Charles Betts, coach and 7th grade. At Scale Street the faculty will include: Mrs. Eva Bishop, 6th grade; Mrs. Emma Lathon, 5th; Miss Stazia Freeman, 4th grade and music; Birdie L. Abbott, 3rd grade; Mrs. Sula R. Lumpkin, 2nd; Mrs. Ernestine Shannon, Mrs. Ozela Betts and Twada Fernandez, 1st grade.
