Voyles on Sunday. The McNutts have been on an extended tour of the western part of the United States and stopped with Mrs. Voyles for a short visit. Mrs. L.E. Horner, after a two-week visit in the home of Mrs. Ida Howard and Mrs. Bessie Neal returned to her home in Memphis, Tennessee yesterday. W.R. Davenport is a guest in the home of Mrs. O.E. Spencer and Mr. Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Portmann of Bolivar, Ohio are in Corinth where they plan to make their home. Mr. Portmann is to be employed by Berry Motors. Mrs. Robert Putman is at home again after a weekend visit in Mayfield, Kentucky. Mrs. Sam R. Dean is in Booneville, Mississippi this week attending court. Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Oldham left Monday for Clarksville, Tennessee and Louisville, Kentucky. They will be gone about two weeks visiting relatives and friends in both places. H.M. Daniel of Chicago, and Mrs. H.E. Hopkins of Fort Wayne, Indiana, are guests of their mother, Mrs. T.A. Haley. Miss Sara Ann Nash of Nashville is visiting Miss Betty Bradley at her home in West Corinth. Mrs. Ida Holley is in Memphis, Tennessee today. While there she is visiting with her brother and other relatives in Memphis. Today Mrs. Bessie Hamm of Booneville, Mississippi, was in Corinth for several hours visit with relatives. After an extended visit in the city James Works, accompanied by Ray Standfield returned to Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Grady Redding have had several guests in their home during the past weekend. Mrs. Redding’s father, W.H. Davis and also her niece, Miss Mary Ann Casey and Miss Lynn Terry all of Little Rock were here. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Lindy are enjoying several days of vacation. They’re just resting and traveling around some. Yesterday they visited several points in Alabama.
