Haynie, one of the best known men of the Waukomis and Strickland communities died. He was 55 years of age and had lived on the Bechaud farm east of Waukomis for some time. The Haynie home is known as the old Leslie Morrison place, 7 or 8 miles southeast of Corinth. Mrs. Haynie has been dead several years and he is survived by a large family, children all grown. The burial will take place Thursday at the Haynie Cemetery near Strickland. McPeters is in charge.
