James Blaine Rogers, 61, died at his home on Corinth, Route 1, at 12:45 o'clock Friday following an illness of two weeks. Mr. Rogers was engaged in farming operations. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Oak Hill church, the rites being conducted by Rev. Cleaton Wilbanks. Burial was in the Oak Hill cemetery with McPeters Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Rachel Rogers of Corinth, Route 1; two brothers E.C. "Zeke" Rogers and Feak Rogers of Corinth, Route 1; a sister, Mrs. Hardy Lee, also of Corinth, Route 1. Active pallbearers were friends and neighbors.
