These are the only notations that you may want to include with the census: This census is very difficult to read, but with the aid of the census before (1850 Amite Co MS) and after (1870 Amite Co MS), it was possible to decipher many of the families. The condition of the imaging is excellent, it is the penmanship that makes it difficult to read. The last 3-4 pages would appear to be the commerce area of Amite Co and you will find many families that just came from overseas on those pages.
