Faust be appointed appraisers of the Estate of A. McManus (?) decd. This day (Thos. Hughes crossed out) Robt. Longmire applied for letters of admr. on the Estate of Johnson Randall, decd.; wherefore it is ordered that Robt. Longmire be appointed Admr. on the Estate of Johnson Randall on his entering into bond in the sum of two thousand dollars. This day Robt. Longmire entered into bond in the sum of two thousand dollars with D. Neill & J. M Daniels his security & took the oath to qualify him to act as such admr. Ordered that John M. Daniels, Reason Robinson, M. F. (?) Faust, Wm. Jenkins & David Dunn be appointed appraisers of the personal Estate of Johnson Randall, decd. This day Hiram Terrell presented the last will and testatment of Moses Terrell and proved the same (which you (?) ordered it to record) wherefrom letters testamentary were granted to him on his entering into bond and security in the sum of twenty five hundred dollars. This day Hiram Terrell entered into bond in the sum of twenty five hundred dollars with Wilford Gaines (?) and Tho. McDowell, his security and took the oath to qualify him to act as such executor. Ratcliff, presented their Admr. acct. of sales which was examined & ordered to record. ================================================ ORPHAN'S COURT RECORD AMITE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI VOLUME 3, PAGE 5 STATE OF MISSISSIPPI AMITE COUNTY By the Orphan's Court of Said County Whereas Johnson Randall, deceased, late of said county died Intestate as we are informed, having whilst he lived and at the time of his death, divers goods, rights and credits within the State aforesaid, land (?)_______ that the said goods, rights and credits may be well and truly administered, _____ and be disposed of, do grant unto Robert Longmire, full power by these presents, to administer the goods and chattels, rights and (rights stricken out) credits of the said deceased, which to him in his life time, and at the time of his death, did belong, to ask, buy, recover, and receive the same, and pay the debts in which the deceased stood bound, so far as his said goods, rights, credits, lands, tenements and hereditaments will extend, according to their rate (?) and the order of the Law--to make a perfect and just inventory of said goods and chattels, rights and credits, and the same to exhibit in the Office of the Clerk of this Court at or before the expiration of three months from the date hereof, and to render a just account of the said Administration, when thereunto legally required; and the said Robert Longmire is hereby ordained administrator of all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits, moneys and effects of the said deceased. {SEAL} Witness Van T.
