Riley, Miss July 3, 1901 Dear Grandma, I received your letter a few days ago was glad to hear from you and that you was well. I have got to go and take Uncle Gray’s dinner to him It is about to miles and a half be in makeing crosties (?) Grandma Papa come to see me about 1 months ago I had a letter from him last Saturday. I will send you the letter I got from him Grandma Have you got any water mellons If you have not you aught to be here Grandma don’t forget to send me one of your pictures.
