DIED in Attala County, Miss., on the 6th of January 1863, ALICE 
ORPHELIA,daughter of SAMUEL and LOUISA CARTER, and sister of [MRS. SOPHIA S. 
CARTER TRULY, deceased], aged six years, three months and 18 days. She was a 
sweet child.
