SOPHIA S. TRULY, aged 26 years. She was the daughter of SAMUEL CARTER, ESQ., formerly of Halifax County, N.C., and was born in Giles County, Tenn. Sept. 18th 1836, and removed with her parents to Madison County, Ala. in 1847, and at Bethelhem Camp Ground in that County, 1851, made a profession of religion and joined the M.E. Church, South. In the fall of 1854, she removed with her parents to Attala County, Miss, where in 1858 she married MR. A.C. TRULY, who preceded her some months to the grave.
