Davidson She's gone she's left this world of woe For legions of eternal love Additional Comments: Jeffersonia Elizabeth (Lawshe) Davidson is the granddaughter of Benjamin Hawkins & Lavinia Downs.  Benjamin Hawkins was in the NC Continental Congress, and US Indian Agent for the Choctaw, Chickasaw, Cherokee and Creek nations.  He lived at the agency in Macon, Georgia. Jeffersonia & her husband lived in Bolivar County, where she died and her husband, Thomas Jefferson Davidson, and children moved to Water Valley, Mississippi, where he is buried in Oakhill Cemetery. Jeffie's marker is near a large persimmon tree.  The marker is broken with the top part cemented together.  There is a portion of a rose at the very top of the stone partially missing - only the leaves remain; and there is still a top left piece missing with the first portion of her name "Jef'...the rest reads as follows:  "fisonia E.
