United States Volunteer Service.
KNOW YE, That Thomas J Fox a private of Captain P.F. Luddell's Company C 
Regiment of Mississippi Volunteers, who was enrolled on the second day of 
January one thousand eight hundred and forty seven to serve DURING THE WAR WITH 
MEXICO, is hereby HONORABLY DISCHARGED from the service of the United States, 
this the tenth day of July, AD 1848, at Vicksburg Mississippi by reason of 
being mustered out of service on the expiration of his term.

Said Thomas J Fox was born in Walton County in the state of Georgia is nineteen 
years of age, five feet five & 3/4 inches high, Dark complexion, Dark eyes, 
Black hair, and by occupation, when enlisted, a farmer-
GIVEN at Vicksburg Mississp the the tenth day of july AD 1848.
